The professional reviews are right! What a great place to have in Doncaster. Every dish we had was superb. Fresh and simple. The service was personal and friendly. We will be visiting again in the coming weeks. It doesn't need to be a special occasion either, just a casual lunch as the menu is great value too. ...

One of, if not my favourite restaurants in and around Doncaster. Fresh food and reasonably priced. It's a great atmosphere aswell as you can see your food being cooked in front of you. If you like seafood.. you will love this place.

Was so glad this place opened back up. We had oysters to start then three starters and two mains to share. Starters amazing crab spring roll with a chilli jam cockle popcorn which was another level and tuna carpaccio. Mains fish curry came with a bhaji and flat bread and salmon and dill fish cakes with a dill mayonnaise. Bottle of lager and glass of fizz. 77 in total well worth the money and the menu is dangerous. Be back soon

We booked for a Saturday afternoon and we were advised to pre order as it often sells out by the time we were arriving. The food was simply delicious and the best paella I have eaten outside of Spain. The service was brilliant and we were really made to feel very welcome. They do not rush you and we were able to relax and enjoy the quirky atmosphere. The owner is incredibly accommodating and even brought out his homemade chilli sauce to entice 2 of our party into sampling an oyster. The chilli sauce was so good we went home with the recipe. It really is a unique, quirky little place that does incredibly delicious seafood. We will definitely return.
